Comma's in all our reports such as project summary report, AP Trial Balance and the BFM

I have to count the decimal places and we work in over the millions.  It is almost unreadable.

    Hi Guys,

    Just a quick update on this one, We have commenced a project using some new PDFBox tools to improve the look of our PDF reports, this will include commas, font, and other formatting. This will be a staged process as we work through reports but we can expect to see action this year.

    Thanks Andrew, External parties like banks and auditors prefer to see PDF reports as they consider this to have more integrity that an excel report which can be more easily manipulated.

    Hi All,

    Thanks for all your votes on this one. You may have noticed in recent releases we put commas in the BFM Contract valuations screens due to popular request and truth be known we were not aware of the enthusiasm for comma's in all reports so it is great to get your feedback and votes on this matter. Our thinking has been that in recent times with the ability to run reports in Excel and BI that the usage of our PDF formatted reports for presentation has been subsiding. However Improving our pdf output in general, and comma's is part of that, has been a topic of discussion in the Product team this year. Though we are not planning a change to our PDF formatting in the near term we may see progress in this area in the medium term. I will keep this in the suggestion box for now for tracking.
