Accounts Receivable Invoice Printing no right click option

Within the text section in invoice printing for progress claims/invoices, when you hover the mouse over a text you get a pop up message 'Right-click to show available options' however nothing happens when you right click! We raise numerous invoice every month where in the GUI version you could right click on the text and then copy and paste from one open Jobpac to another open Jobpac. With this version you can only copy text by left-clicking on a line item at the beginning of the text and then dragging the whole line to highlight the text, but you can only copy and paste using the keyboard as you are unable to copy and a paste with the mouse. Some invoices have multiple line item descriptions so a lot of time would be saved by being able to copy and paste by right-clicking with the mouse instead of manually doing so, line by line, using a keyboard.

    Hi Andrew,

    Thank you for the reply!

Was not aware of that little icon above the words text, it only became available to click on it once you first select modify invoice on the actions drop down menu. Upon doing so the free format text entry worked and I also had ability to highlight all of the text at once and then right-click also worked and gave me the option to copy that whole text. The next time I have a new invoice to raise for an existing project I will attempt to use this method to copy the invoice description on a new invoice, however on the new invoice itself I will likely have to choose modify invoice and free format text entry in order to paste the whole text. For a lot of my regular job invoices the invoice description is usually the same on a particular project and the only thing I change is the actual progress number noted on the invoice and nothing else.

    Cheers.

    Slavo

Hi there, and thanks for your suggestion. While we have a look at your
suggestion did you also note the little icon above the words text? on an
editable invoice this allows for free format text entry if you prefer it.
Free format text entry should then allow an easier method for copy paste.
Just an idea and I would be interested to know your thoughts once you try
    that option out.
    cheers
    Andrew
