Variation module for pricing Variations in JP, this can also automate a variation register too

Hi Team,


Currently our Quantity Surveyors go through a two-step process involving pricing variations in Excel and then entering this data into JP. Which results in doubling up on a process, but also introduces the risk of errors, often necessitating additional time to reconcile Excel with JP at the end of the month.

My vision is to streamline this process with the implementation of a separate variation pricing module within JP. These variations can then be exported and shared with clients directly from JP/Procore. Additionally, we'll have the capability to generate a variation register that can be easily accessed and reviewed in Excel, simplifying our monthly progress claims submission.

I understand this is a substantial change, but one that holds value. I am keen to take part in this development if it gains momentum.

The benefits are far-reaching: improved accuracy, substantial time savings, and consistency in presenting variations to external stakeholders. These advantages will trigger a ripple effect of enhancements throughout our workflow, and potentially industry.

I welcome your thoughts and ideas on how we can make this transition and open to feedback from the wider community.
