I would find it very useful to be able to see an Actuals row along with Committed Cost, FCC, FFC rows in the BFM PMW Forecasting by Cost Centre screen. Suggest below Committed and before FCC.
I find myself having to jump in and out of the "Summary" screen just for that single bit of data.
It should be a fairly simple addition I would expect?

got it. There are plans for a few other things on this screen in the not
too distant future. I will bring this into consideration.
Cheers
Yep, aware of formula and use it in certain cases.
Even when forecasting using commitments for various reasons I like to be able to see actual movements month-to-month. Our Sub-contracting company (a Roofer) buys lots of its materials (roofing, flashing, screws) without POs so they don't have commitments up front. Every order is custom so generating PO for each one isn't efficient.
I suppose I do mean CWIP rather than Actuals.
Hi Alex,
Just checking.
Are you forecasting based on Actuals or commitments on those particular
cost centres.
I just wanted to make sure you knew about the forecasting formula H that is
based on CWIP instead of commitments and can be set at cost centre level.
If you are forecasting by formula H the CWIP (Actuals plus accruals) does
show as a line instead of commitments.
You may know this already but I just wanted to check.
cheers
Andrew
