Sometimes errors mean that a progress claim is posted incorrectly. It would be really useful to have the ability to unpost a posted claim.

Hi Rebecca,
Thanks for the additional context.
No unfortunately once the claim is posted as a certified claim to create
the Invoice. Then it needs to be adjusted manually through the AR Invoice
Entry process.
cheers
Andrew
Hi Andrew,
Thanks for your reply.
Just so I can make sure were talking about the same thing 😊
Weve posted (certified) a head contract progress claim.
The retentions amount was incorrect (should have been nil).
We therefore need to correct the posted claim.
Im not aware of an option anywhere to back it out.
Are you saying that we can post an additional (correcting) claim over the top?
Does this affect the claim numbering?
Thanks again,
Rebecca Mitchell (she/her)

Hi Rebecca,
If we are talking about Head Contract Progress Claims, the system can be
configured with an additional claim status that allows posting over the top
of a previously posted claim, as long as the claim has not moved to the
uncertified status. If this sounds like it may help you it would be
worth reaching out to your consultant to discuss.
Let me know if this sounds of interest, or if I am not understanding
exactly we can keep discussing.
Cheers
Andrew
