Hi Doria,
Unfortunately yes. The BFM Journal Generation has been changed to a batch
only Job. This means it runs on the back end server and it means if you
lose your interactive session or the internet drops out for any reason,
then the Job will continue to run on the server without interruption to
completion. This was changed to a back end batch process as drop outs
during the long interactive posting method were causing some Data integrity
issues. Unfortunately this means reports will be emailed to you on
completion instead of interactively displayed. We are however working
towards a user based Active Job Viewer that will allow you to watch the
progress of batch Jobs running in the background.
cheers
Andrew
