When your cost centers exceed 999 instead of going to 1000 in order it puts the 1000 back under 100, so your numbers are not in order. very messy and does not make sense.

Hi Emily,
unfortunately there is no easy way to change mid project no.
But going forward you can adjust... you can use things like '001.2002' or
any combination of alphanumeric you like during the setup.
cheers
Andrew
Thanks for this Andrew, we were not advised of this when setting up otherwise would have used the 0 before... there is no easy way to update this now is there? Thanks :)
Hi,
Cost Codes are alpha-numeric, NOT Numeric. ie numbers, letters plus spaces
and full stops, dashes etc.
If you want to use them as a numeric sequence then in the situation
described in your suggestion would would need to add a zero before the 999.
ie 0999 comes before 1000 due to 0 being less than 1.
cheers
Andrew
