Retrospective Job Journal to allow Small Order Revenue (no tick box) therefore will not allow to post to a prior period.ing
Currently, retrospective job journals do not allow small order revenue to be posted. When the job costing module is open for the current month, we can successfully post small order revenue journals to jobs by selecting the “Small Order” tick box.
However, once the job costing module has been rolled into the next month, the tick box option is no longer available. When attempting a retrospective journal, an error message appears stating that the selected cost type cannot be used. As a result, we are unable to post retrospective revenue journals to jobs — only cost journals are permitted.
Could this tick box functionality please be made available for retrospective journals as well? This would allow us to correctly post and adjust small order revenue to jobs after the period has rolled over.
