Warning to users who were excited by this being rolled out - it doesn't work as I expected.
It is now both under-accruing (not accruing when it should) and over accruing (accruing when it doesn't need to).
I understand the calculation is based on the weekly pay x 52 or fortnightly pay x 26, divided by 12 to see if SGC is payable. It is NOT looking at MTD figures each pay.
We have been left with at least two cases in October that are incorrect and we'd be in breach of our obligations if we didn't pick up manually. Scary thing is we have no easy way to check.
Sounds like we can give you some time back with this mod so I would like to do it. you should be notified as this one moves through the Roadmap
thanks
Andrew
We have this issue every month. The threshold would need to be set at an employee level probably because different awdsfards (eg Hospitality) have different thresholds.
We have to manually process a pay that un-accrues superannuation for those employees who are not eligible (earn less than the threshold) each month. You have to turn each employee's super "allowance" to manual, then back to auto again after you've processed the entry. Pain in the next and prone to error!
