Accurate Payroll Labour Report

When generating the labour report, we have to export to Excel and manipulate the data to calculate the actual hours worked and cost per hour as all site allowance & oncosts (Superannuation, Incolink etc) are shown us individual units. It would be helpful if there was a field within the Payroll Transaction Definition where you could stipulate if the transaction is an actual "Hours Worked" transaction.

There still seem to be various reports that have allowances showing up in the hours column, including

    Labour Hours Report 3.1.9.16

    Labour Detail Report 3.1.9.8

I'm looking at the excel download files.

Can this be reviewed and fixed?

    Hi All,

We put in a change for this not too long ago where allowance and super hours will not show on all labour hours reports and will not be included in the total hours. It will not also be included in labour hours on the Job Enquiry.

Let me know if you are seeing the benefits of this change or if you are still having problems. Ill mark this one as Shipped and can adjust pending your feedback.

    good luck with testing!

    thanks

    Andrew

100% am with you on this. Various labour reports include these transactions even though they're not hours worked. It makes the reports meaningless for hours worked.

    Hi Deanne,
    Thanks for your suggestion.
I think this idea is worthy of a discussion.
I am wondering if you are using Job Charge Rates for Project costing of Labour?
In addition would you be able to forward me a direct email with an example of the situation you face and highlight a report? andrew.tucker@viewpoint.com
Lastly, I think Phil Cadusch from Viewpoint is on Site there today if you get this mail you may be able to catch him on this topic!
    Thanks
    Andrew
