When a tax file number is entered, the system confirms that this is a valid number. If the TFN is invalid an error message is displayed. This would allow companies to work with the employees to ensure that they have valid details.

Yes the TFN and ABN validation exists by parameter activation. in terms of
format.
We want to go further though like Quickbooks and apply further ABN
validation to check for creditor name and registration status. You can
expect this in the medium term.
thanks

Perhaps its turned on by a parameter - check with a consultant.
Both TFN and ABN validation already exists in Jobpac?
Would be good if ABN's could be validated as well. Quickbooks does this.
