The ability to enter more text in text boxes.
More text space in the invoice and description text boxes when adding invoices would be beneficial, as well as the Job name text box when adding a new job.

Thanks for your suggestion. We have been gradually improving our text handling capability and in some areas now we allow free format text boxes for additional text. In other areas we allow extended text up to 70 characters from 30 in the short texts fields. I have to be honest the extended Job name text is unlikely to proceed at this stage because there are so many reports and enquiries that show the text and if we extended in Job maintenance it would cut off in screens and reports. To change so many reports and enquiries would be very costly and I think we can deliver more value with our development dollars. On Invoices though we have more potential for change. Can you email me directly the areas in Invoicing that would like to extend? I would like to review and see if there is anything already available for you there andrew.tucker@viewpoint.com
