Change Fax Field to Mobile Field in Employees and Link to HR Personal Mobile Field.
Not many employees would have fax but most if not all have a personal mobile. Alot still have home phones. We have been using the fax field to hold the mobile number but it is not linked to HR as there is no fax in HR there is only a personal mobile field. Would be nice to link it up like the phone field. Means only having to update it once. The work around is using the phone as the mobile field but would be better if the fields can be used what they are actually for.

Thanks for that suggestion. I think if employees still have a fax at home I’d be happy to buy it off them and give them a mobile just to move them into the modern era. And with that I agree we need to bring Jobpac into that era too as you describe. I will include something on this in the Roadmap and link this suggestion to it so that you will be notified as it moves through the software development lifecycle. No guarantee’s on timing but I hope to include as a quick win item over the next 12 months.
