No worries, I'll let the case run through but not the sum of child project
margin will not necessarily add to the Parent Project Margin depending on
your setup, margin might be recalculated at Parent level. One example of
this would be if a child project is forecasting a Loss and the full value
of that loss is recognised in the current period, but at Parent level the
project as a whole is not forecasting a loss and therefore recognises
margin at the consolidated % cost completion. Something to look at.

Thanks Andrew; I found the movement margin is the info I need in the BFM report, but it turns out there are some issues with the report; some jobs are falling in and out of the report, while the sum of subprojects does not match the parent job margin, This issue means that the margin movement in the BFM report doesn���t match our GP.
I have raised a case for this and waiting to hear back.

Check your BFM Contract Reconciliation Reports as a first step.
There are a few BFM reports that list projects with Rev,turnover,cost,margin if you go through the BFM reports and More Reports menu options.
Check these for starters and if you need more help or something specificly designed for you we can help you through the case.

Can you not just show me the path of the report?
I have gone through all the searches and with Rick and we believe there no such report exists in jobpac
Absolutely we have reports such as this already.
