Employees have logged off JobPac, but are still in displayed active users using up our licence capacity. As System Administrator i should be able to force log them off so others can use it.

thanks for the additional insight.
We will consider, however it is unlikely to proceed. One of the problems
with this approach is if users are forced off the system in the middle of
processes this could lead to data integrity issues.
In the meantime, and I'm sure you have already, keep spreading the message
about signing off. And it might be worth putting up a broadcast message as
a reminder.
thanks
Andrew

Hi Andrew,
I have watched 2 users log off correctly and they were still displayed as
logged in for 30 minutes which leaded to downtime for other sessions to be
used.
We only need 5 users concurrently, but can’t deal with the lag between
signoffs. Sometimes it is ok, but sometimes it just doesn’t recognise the
sign offs.
Anything we can do about this?
We have assessed the named user approach, and it was double the price and
the additional modules aren’t required by our business.
Suggestion being it would be good to have a “force sign-off” function for
when sign offs aren’t being recognised.
Let me know if this is a possibility.
Thanks,
Jason

be able to force logout someone
Hi Jason,
Unfortunately, this is not an option.
Concurrent users can have up to 5 sessions open in their Browser at the
same time and only take up one license.
But if they do close without signing off it will tie up a license for the
next 60 minutes of inactivity at which point they will be automatically
logged off.
In the latest release we have introduced the one click sign off which
should make it easier and we also advise education about license control.
If all else fails we have a newer licensing model that works on a Named
user basis.
It has many advantages including the fact that a named user license
includes all modules + TEAM + BI.
If you are interested in switching to the Named user approach please
contact your account manager.
thanks
Andrew
