Lock the job dates when the budget for the job is approved

This would ensure the original dates agreed when the contract was signed could never be changed.

    Hi Teagan,

    I have considered this suggestion and thank you very much for taking an interest in product. In this case we will not proceed. However we may already have some options that could help you. For example using our "Job Maintenance Access Security" program you can limit the edit capability of your users on that job dates tab to prevent most users from updating it. Some users with enough authority can then be granted access to maintain that screen.I  know it is not exactly how you would like it but it would give you some level of control. eg perhaps only the finance team have the edit capability in this area. I do also envisage we would need some flexibility in editing those fields in case the job was finalised with the wrong program dates in place.
