COPY PURCHASE ORDERS function.

WITH REPETITIVE OR COMPLICATED ORDERS THIS FUNCTION WOULD SAVE A GREAT DEAL OF TIME. Copying an old order is fairly standard with most systems.

  Hi Jack,
  This suggestion has not yet made it in the roadmap above other priorities.
  Using Excel to download the old one and upload the new one is an option.

  How are we going with this review Andrew? Copy any order into an Enquiry state and including cost code status validation doesn't seem hard? if order by Job is set up - which is 90% of all clients. This function would be pretty cool.

  Hi All,

  Yes good suggestion Alex.

  In Jobpac there are a couple of options. We have the ability to copy all the PO's from a template Job in the Job Copy Function. When taking the copy PO function while copying a template job all the enquiry orders will be copied. This feature may not apply to this case but good to know about it.

  The second option, as Alex suggested, is to use the Upload form Excel feature in the PO Entry screen. 

  We will keep our eye on this suggestion and watch the votes but at this stage we are not planning as a Roadmap item for 2018 in this case.

  You can use the PO import process? Just have a bunch of PO templates in excel which are very easy to change, then import whichever one you need?
