Right Click button to be able to change Variation Status from R to A
Very time consuming for QS to manually enter each variation status and change from R to A
Each variation status has a date, qty, UOM, rate ,and amount. so changing status is not as simple as just changing a letter. The variation can also be transferred.There could be an easier way by say a Right Mouse Button option.
We are always interested in ways to reduce clicks for our users. I guess the theory in the past has been that at the same time as changing status by click of the radio button you may also want to change values, attach documents to the content viewer, request approval, adjust Site Ref and SC ref information or skip status's eg from n to A and fill in the Subbie price at the same time.
The untransfer is also important as this will back out any auto PMW forecasting entries if this configuration option is set up. ie Transferring in the N status can be configured to write an automatic PMW forecasting entry.
Were you thinking the right click option appear on the Variation header screen? let me know how you see the right click option working. I am interested.
