Editing description fields

Can we please allow for the description fields to be editable. This would be particularly useful for the purchase order field. It would also be useful if formated text could be pasted in. This would save substantial time for the estimators when creating orders.

  Hi Joshua,

  In many places in Jobpac already we do have multi line entry text boxes where you can copy from word documents and emails and directly paste the text into the multi line text box. Unfortunately Bolding and font size will not be preserved for technical reasons but the line breaks will be preserved. We are also planning to implement a spell check in the 2018 UX release later in the year for the multi line text boxes only. NOTE: You need to be using the Jobpac Connect Web User Interface to take advantage of the multi line text boxes. The old GUI Rich client does not have this feature.

  In many places also Descriptions may be locked down to deliberately prevent change after approval for example or in Purchase orders if the description changes on the order the system can be configured to trigger re approval.
