Being able to use the subcontract module and cost against MT & OX cost types would be beneficial for tracking and ease of maintenance.

Just a quick tip, you can do that if you want already. In the Cost Types Maintenance you can specify which ones can be used by S/C Agreements. You can put Y in whichever cost types work for you. Hope that helps.
