Claim retention with base contract claim

Can we make it so we can claim the retention on a head contract in the same claim as a normal base contract claim.  Currently we have to do two separate claims - base contract and retention.  This would benefit companies in New Zealand because often retentions can be agreed to be 50% released at completion of contract (ie. last base contract claim) with the remaining 50% coming 12 months later.  It would be nice to have these claims made together to help our customers and not confuse them.

    Hi All, There are no plans at this stage to include Retention claim as part of Base claim at this stage with other priorities currently taking precedence. That said, we are at some stage looking to evolve our claiming module and will consider this suggestion as a potential part of that overhaul. cheers

    Further to this, is it possible to have a separate line item for Retention Release in both the Retention Release menu as well as the claim form

    Just wondering if this has beem resolved and if I am missing a menu item for the retention release amount.

    Hi Ricardo,

    Thanks for the suggestion. For an interim solution you may be able to add a line to the Claim structure for "Retention claim" and then make your claim against it while manually reducing the retention value. Not ideal but it may help.
