Do not allow an EFT transaction to be cancelled if it relates to a payment that was done a few years ago

We had an issue where the wrong EFT number was cancelled accidentally (i.e. EFT no. 2500 was cancelled instead of 25000). EFT no. 2500 was for a payment that happened back in 2012, yet Jobpac allowed this cancellation to happen, without any prompts or error messages. When we logged this issue on Viewpoint, we were advised that we cannot undo a cancellation of an EFT.

    Especially when a EFT has been marked presented, this should not be allowed to happen.
