Got caught w a Sub's invoice re GST - and I understand GST pretty well.
Depending on what screen you are in, sometimes the figure is net of GST - sometimes the figure includes GST - and as far as I've noticed, it does not tell you which. This is a recipe for mistakes.
Don't suppose there's any way it could either be consistent (in or out across EVERY screen - I can get used to either - though excl GST is the way we work gen.) or SAY which on the screen in an obvious way

Thanks for the suggestion.
Where possible we try an be explicit when a value includes GST or where
there are both net and GST values on the same page. All project values are
ex GST of course. However It is noted we can always do better. Rather than
sweep the whole system I think if we take the approach of incrementally
improving then the project is not too large. With this in mind can you show
me the exact places where you think we could be more explicit? you can
email me direct with screenshots at andrew.tucker@viewpoint.com
cheers
