If a supplier forwards a claim and it contains both GST Free and GST items, two claims have to be done. Our accounts payable have to register the documents against both claims.
This would reduce staff time by being able to perform the task for both GST inclusive and GST Free in one screen, with one attachment. Another staff time saver is the approver only has to approve one claim instead of two.
This is becoming more regular - to ask a supplier to submit two claims (one for the GST inclusive and one for the GST Free) has not worked.

Hi All, Happy to announce that this feature was shipped in the last release. Take care if activating, and I advise testing in a test environment or seeking some Consulting assistance. You need to be careful of existing Subcontrcats that are mixed GST and you may have been handling by processing two claims. Once the mod is activated the GST code will come from the Item setup evel and wou will not be able to change at claim time. Other than that happy multi GST Subcontracting!
Andrew
Hi All,
Update on this suggestion. Development is in final stages with much of the
work already passed QA. We are targeting release of this enhancement in our
Mid May 2020 release. Please be aware that we are talking futures and
unexpected events may happen between now and then that may delay release.
Nevertheless, our target is Mid May and at this stage we are on target. It
is expected to be a soft release due to the complexity of changes and
activated by parameter. Therefore testing will be advised in your test
environment to ensure you are comfortable with the changes, before
activation live. You may also wish to roll out additional training.
Stay safe. Regards Andrew
