AP Invoice Entry - Remaining Amount to be allocated

Hi

AP Transaction Entry screen attached here shows the total of all lines entered so far but does not show balance to be allocated.

Most major accounting system shows the balance of amount to be allocated.

At the moment user have to calculate amount left for last line and then key in. But if it is shown on screen, then user does not need to calculate or refer to another screen where calculations are done.

This will improve data entry speed where high volume invoices are processed.

Thanks,

I would love an "uncallocated" line.

Also I just uploaded one e-inovice as trial which is for March period and JP is not allowing me to update Dissection for it with error message "Transaction cannot be posted as the period is > the job cost period"..

I am not posting but I am simpling adding dissection and preparing it.

    Thanks,

    Thanks Andrew.

I can look at using e-invoice which allows to upload header details.

Is there any way to add dissection to same upload or upload dissection separately. Also Dissection needs to go to Asset.

    Thanks,

    Hi Dharmesh,
    Thanks for your suggestion.
There are additional features that automatically calculate balance lines
when using the newer Jobpac eInvoicing process. It may be worth having
another look at the newer process to see if there is a chance that it suits
your needs more appropriately. It is unlikely that we will develop the old
AP Invoicing process further. If you are interested in the benefits of the
newer process and how it can make you more efficient in terms of PO
matching, Invoice approvals, electronic invoicing, OCR, we would be happy
to arrange another look for you.
    cheers
    Andrew
