user interface

I wanted to see if a simpler user interface had been considered in the development of the JOBpac program. One issue I have had is (user Invoices as an example) multiple screens have to be entered into in-order to progress the invoice from review, PO matching, approval etc. Would it be possible to have the one screen titled "Invoices", then have a status (or similar) column which allows the user to track through the process and know exactly what, where and who it is with from the one screen? I would have thought this would be the same for PO and a like.  In the back ground I would assume it would function the same it is only the interface.

I think this would also limit errors (or at least understand where the item has gone) and would also form to make the program more intuitive, saving time for employees utilising the system.
