Prevent manual entry of invalid password

Under 'User Profiles', a users password can be manually entered which does not meet the complexity requirements of:

  • between 10 and 128 characters long;

  • contains mixed case characters (upper and lower case);

  • contains at least 1 x special character;

  • contains at least 1 x number?

If the password is not set as 'Expired', the password does not sync with BI and causes issues.

    Hi Nick,
    There is no solution for the manual setting of Passwords by administrators
    in the back end.
    The best way is to flag as expired and then the user can reset their own
    password if using the WUI interface. When setting their own password,
    complexity requirements must be satisfied.
