Under STP2, there is a requirement to disaggregate, so the total hourly rate is seperated into the base rate (Gross) and the industry allowance will need to be separately identified as the Task Allowance (KN)
Both need casual loading applied.
The problem is that Jobpac does not provide for casual loading on non NT type transactions - so won't calculate on IND Allowance
So therefore although JOBPAC claims it is STP2 compliant, it in fact IS NOT.
The only way to get the correct casual loading amount is to put the base and industry allowance together as one amount in employees card under 'rate' in order for the casual loading to get the correct figure.
THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED WITHIN JOBPAC ASAP -
- as an example- Attached is the Fairwork PACT calculator tool for a B&C casual worker - L6 - hourly rate - which shows the breakdown of wage components as per STP2 requirements .. ( base rate + industry allowance)x 25% (casual loading)
