I agree! Having been forced to move over to the WUI I find it incredibley ineffecient for any users that make full use of the software as it forces you to use your mouse more often. Data entry and navigation is much more efficient for heavy use. My favourites list is ever expanding and while slightly quicker than going through the menu, you still have to scroll through it. We had lots of shortcuts setup in GUI and to loose these is probably one of the worst parts of the WUI.
I agree the menu system in the WUI is poor compared to the GUI. The answer in the past has been "just use the search", or "use favourites", but you need to remember the menu name to be able to search, and the context of the menu is helpful. Sometimes you search for a common phase and 15 options come up and it's impossible to tell where they sit in the menu structure. Favorites a great but my favourites list will pretty much look like the whole menu structure!
